WORLD VISION asked us to join them in thinking about branding for a new initiative they were starting called CANDLE which provides internet access to hubs in rural communities. These hubs provide access to education, medical expertise and agricultural information.
In order to visiually establish Candle as a autonamous initiative living under the World Vision brand we constructed a logo comprised of elements taken directly from the World Vision logo. The result is a mark which stands on its own but when seen in relation to World Vision's logo communicates the connection between the 2 entities. The mark was also design to be easily applied as a stencil in rural areas where printing is not readily available.
